    Neon Discharge - Jerin/Korin [Dec. 2015; Crosslink Music]

    This EP was finished in the summer of 2015 and released by Crosslink Music on December 21, 2014. Carrying an atmosphere of progressive house blended with a low-end groove of tech house, “Jerin” seeks to gratify the dancer and the casual listener. “Korin” conveys a tech house vibe in spirit to its eccentric atmosphere, with a tight low-end and a housey groove.

    The Framework - Origins/Prismachor [Feb. 2016; Mesmasounds]

    The first release under the collaborative duo “The Framework” with Jeff Smudde (AKA Kestral), The Framework opens up a can of modern progressive trance (colloquially referred to as “trance 2.0”) for their first release under Mesmasounds, the label owned by Jeff Smudde.

    “Stranger Things” is partially inspired by the theme song of the titular Netflix TV Show, composed into a banging tech trance tune.

    Neon Discharge - Gekido [Jan. 2017; free]

    Originally produced in July of 2016, Gekido is a tribute to Neon’s love for the artistic storytelling potential offered by classic Japanese chanbara (samurai cinema), and specifically the 1963 film “Harakiri”. Meaning “wrath” in Japanese, “Gekido” is a festival trance banger with not only a rebellious nature, but an emotional undertone.

    Neon Discharge - Gwen Stacy [March 2017; North Clouds Collective]

    In March of 2017, Neon stopped by the Canadian internet label North Clouds Collective to deliver quite the care package. And that care package was “Gwen Stacy”, a moody progressive house track with melodic techno influences.

    The Framework - Shine One [Sept. 2017; Mesmasounds]

    In the duo’s second collaborative effort, Jeff and Ryan deliver a euphoric blend of power and raw beauty in their third track “Shine One”, intended as the first release on the rebooted Mesmasounds label.

    For his first release under Mesmasounds with his solo work, Neon delivers a three track collection of ethereal progressive house selections, consisting of moody, retro, and dark soundscapes. Contains “Grandfather Paradox”, “Idol”, and “Livea”.

    Nordir - DNA [Oct. 2017; Mesmasounds]

    Nordir, the collaborative effort between Neon Discharge and Whiteshore, sees a blockbuster of a debut track. ‘DNA’, is a raw, power-filled anthem soaked in vibrant, colorful sounds, and layered on top of a progressive groove and a trance influenced chorus.

    In mid January of 2017, Neon released this bootleg take of Lana Del Rey’s “Music To Watch Boys To.” Featuring an aggressive intro bassline, an epic cinematic breakdown, and supersaw chorus, Neon brings fire to the dance floor with this remix.

    A trance classic that helped influence his career, “Affinity” is remixed into a modern progressive, trance 2.0 style by Neon.

    Released as a free giveaway, “Open Galaxy” is three track collection of club covers of selections from the score of the Mass Effect video game franchise. Contains “Uncharted Worlds”, “Creation”, and “Saren”.

    Featuring himself from the Christian dark-pop project Revenir on vocals, Neon presents a cover of the song “Northern Soul” by Above & Beyond featuring Richard Bedford.

    Neon Discharge feat. Jaclyn Heuser - Perception (Cass & Slide Covers) [April 2018; free]

    Started in March of 2017 and kept in stasis for the purpose of a free giveaway, “Perception” is a a cover of a classic progressive house banger by Cass & Slide from the start of the millenium. Featuring Jaclyn Heuser of the Chicago pop punk band City Mouth on vocals, this double release comes in two versions: an uplifting festival trance mix and a deeper progressive house mix.
